  Mr. Rudeen was a native of Burnt Ridge, Idaho, and had resided in Pensacola for the past 30 years [1955-1985]. He was an artist and a member of the Pensacola Historical Society. Mr. Rudeen depicted on canvas some of the early historical happenings in the West Florida area, which hang in the Pensacola Historical Museum. He painted "DeLuna's Landing," which was displayed at Rockefeller City in New York City. He studied art in Paris, France, where he and his wife, Jessie Marie Robinson Rudeen, lived from 1923-1924. He lived in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois between 1920 and 1955.
Mr. Rudeen was also an illustrator for the "Children's Bible Stories" and "Uncle Arthur's Bedtime Stories." They had no children.
