JOHN LEE RANDALL........John Lee Randall Sr.. 82 of 160 North Eleventh Street , a retired railroad switchman, died yesterday in a local hospital.
Randall worked the Southern Pacific Company in Fresno for more than 40 years before retiring in 1954.
A native of Frankfort, Ky., he came to Fresno in 1909. He and his wife, Lillian observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in January,
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Trainmen.
Besides his widow, Randall is survived by five daughters , Mrs Reba Foore, Mrs Besse Felles, Mrs Edith Richardson and Mrs Jeanne Clark, all of Fresno, and Mrs Emma Lee MxCoy of Marysville, Yuba Co; four sons, Walter, John Jr, and Stacy of Fresno, and Richard of Downey, Los Angeles Co; 22 grandchildren. A son Dwight, was killed in World War II while serving in the marines on Tarawa.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday on Yost & Webb Funeral Home with Rev Guy A Davidson officiating. Buriel will be in the Belmont Memorial Park.
The Plaque on John's headstone indicate that he was a members of the Brotherhood of Trainmen.
