PRAIRIE CREEK. Ind., Jan. 29 -- (Special) --John Albert(sic) Sears, 90 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ilene Liffick, 409 North Sixth street, Terre Haute, at 8 o'clock Monday morning. Surviving are four other daughters, Mrs. Bernell Bonham of Sullivan, Mrs. Ola Roder of Anderson, Ind.; Mrs. May Phillippe of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Gertie Callahan of Chesterfield; three sons, Roy Sears of Midland, Loren Sears of Montrose, Mich., and Arthur Sears of Battle Creek, Mich.; 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the De Baun Funeral Home at Prairie Creek.
