Peter Smith died at his home in North Aurora last evening at five o'clock following an illness with pneumonia. He was 65 years of age. Besides his widow, the deceased is survived by five children, Mrs. Joseph Kiefer, Mrs. George Wennmacher, Miss Lena Smith, Nicholas Smith, all of Aurora, and Jacob Smith of Batavia, one brother and two sisters, John Smith, Mrs. Kate Stark and Miss Mary Smith of Batavia and eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the home and at 9:30 o'clock from the Big Woods church. Interment will be in Big Woods cemetery.
