Emma Musgrove passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise Sept. 26, 2011.

Emma was born Sept. 23, 1917 at Ola, Idaho. She was the daughter of Harry and Dora May Foster. In 1924 the Foster family moved to Boise in their Model-T Ford.

Emma married Harry Musgrove June 15, 1935. Both of them grew up in south Boise. They enjoyed 66 years together. Through out those years they enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and traveling together with the family.

Emma was a meticulous housekeeper and awesome cook. Many of our favorites were cinnamon rolls, pies and German chocolate cake. Emma loved gardening, and her flowers were extraordinary. This was evident by looking at her immaculate yard, which she had worked in up to the day she went to the hospital.

Emma is survived by her daughters: Joanne Minton (Elvin), of Kuna, Geraldine Hayes (Roy), of CO, and Kathleen Osgood (Bruce), of Boise; son, Calvin Musgrove, of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Musgrove; and five siblings.

Emma will be missed for her kindness and willingness to be there to give a helping hand.

The family would like to thank her very special neighbors, Gary and Shirley Pruit, for all the loving concern and kindness they extended to Emma over the past years. We also want to thank her special friend, Dianne Thomas, and her children, Tim and Whitney, for the love and friendship they have shared with Emma.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Idaho Youth Ranch.

The family will have a private service.
