Bruce Eldon Sutton, 51, of 705 W. Howard St., died at Ball Hospital late Wednesday evening after an illness of one month.

A salesman for the Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company of Elmira, N.Y., he was in charge of their Michigan territory with headquarters in Detroit. Mr. Sutton had been employed prior to joining the Thatcher Company with Ball Brothers Co. for 26 years.

Mr. Sutton was born in Muncie, the son of Ai and Amelia Gallman Sutton, and was a member of the Muncie Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis Scottish Rite and the Indianapolis Murat Shrine Club.

Surviving are the wife, Wilma; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Theonnes of Lafayette; a son, Lt. Jack Sutton of Ft. Lee, Va.; and a granddaughter, Jean Anne Thoennes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Meeks Mortuary by the Rev. A.W. McDavitt. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 3 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers for the funeral will be Max Thomas, Harold Craven, Charles Warren, Leroy Priest, Leo Hanley, Guy Littler, Loring Austin and Erwin Smith.
