MARION - Mrs. Retha Altman, 59, died at 9 a.m. Saturday at her home near Brittons Neck.

She is survived by her husband, Decar Altman of Brittons Neck; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Johnson and Mrs. Jackie Leland, both of Georgetown, Mrs. Mozella Alford of Brittons Neck and Mrs. Clarence Hogan of Augusta, Ga.

Also, one son, Tommy Lester Altman of Brittons Neck; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Husbands of Washington, D.C.,; two brothers, Sandy Turbeville of Brittons Neck and Allen Turbeville of Detroit, Mich.; six half-sisters, Mrs. Ruth Causey, Mrs. Betty Carter, Mrs. Clara Godbolt, all of Brittons Neck, Mrs. Elizabeth Watson of Marion, Mrs. Joan Ammons of Mullins and Mrs. Eddy Hilburn of Conway; three half-brothers, Francis and Billy Turbeville of Marion and Earl Turbeville of Brittons Neck.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Nebo Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Russell Aho. Burial will follow in Souls Chapel Cemetery.
