BATESBURG - Harvey C. "Bill Peck" Maroney, 72, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011.
Mr. Maroney was born in Monetta, SC, to the late Jack Coleman and Victoria Enlow Maroney. He was a carpenter. He was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Clark Maroney; sons and daughters-in-law, Kimbo (Debbie) Maroney, Robert (Charlyn) Maroney, both of Batesburg; daughters and sons-in-law, LuLu (J.B.) Skelton of Aiken, Rena (Leonard) Frick of Batesburg, Opal (J.R.) Lybrand of Ward; brothers, J.V. Maroney, Rick Maroney, Ken Maroney, all of Batesburg-Leesville; Leroy Maroney of Greenwood; sisters, Carol Maroney of Batesburg-Leesville, Veonia Cade of Batesburg, Jean Senn of Newberry; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ron, Lynn, Mack and Don Maroney; and sister, Faye Stoudimire.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, and other times at his home. Milton Shealy Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
