George Adams, a retired truck driver with the County Co-op in Woodville, Miss., he died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, June 18, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 69, a resident of Ethel, LA and a native of Woodville, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen J. Adams; daughter, Brenda Irvin and husband Michael; son, Wesley Adams and wife Marvetta;
four sisters, Martha A. Jones, Everlean Adams, Jessie Mae Hampton (1931-2010) and Geraldine Quarles;
two brothers, Joseph Adams and Robert Adams Sr.;
seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by his parents, Odalie Adams and Henry Adams Sr.; daughter, Terry D. Adams; sister, Oralee Martin; and two brothers, Henry Adams Jr. and Roosevelt Adams.
