Dorman P. Caldwell, 91, of Jonesboro, AR., formerly of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. He was born Feb. 7, 1920, at Center Hill, Pontotoc County, Miss., to the late James Presley Caldwell and Mehaly Elizabeth "Bettie" Price Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Margret Quinn Wingo Caldwell, and a daughter, Jane Margaret Caldwell Brewer.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Dr. David L. Caldwell and his wife Diane of Benton; his daughter, Donna Caldwell of Jonesboro; his brother, Robert Wayne Caldwell of Ecru, Miss.; his grandchildren, Deborah Reyes, Quinn Fountain, Drew Caldwell, Brig Caldwell, Marlo James and Preston Caldwell; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends, who will all miss him dearly.
Funeral services were in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home. Burial was in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
