Mrs. Jessie Gratner , 82 , who lived in the Lacey community,
in the early 1900's died Saturday at her home in Enid..
Services were Wednesday at 2PM in the Eden Baptist Church
near Ames with the Rev. John H. Morgan officiating …
Burial was in the Cimarron Valley Cemetery…
A native of Missouri, she came to Oklahoma in 1894 from
western Kansas.. on April 3, 1904, she married D. D. Gratner
and they lived near Lacy about a year before moving to a farm
west of Bison, where they stayed until moving to Enid in
1954..
She was a member of the Greenwood Assembly of God Church ..
Survivors include her widower of the home, one daughter, Mrs.
Lula Brawner of Cimarron, Kansas, three sons, Ray, of Lake Tahoe,
California, Birdes of Columbia Falls, Montana and Eril, of Enid, one
brother, Clarence Rainbolt of Salem, Oregon ; 14 grandchildren and
24 great grandchildren ….
