A native of Lima, he retired five years ago as a shipping clerk at the Montgomery Ward & Co. store. He had been a member of Jehovah's Witnesses for 30 years.
Surviving are his widow, Ollie; a brother, D. A., 400 E. Fourth-st, and a sister, Mrs. Frances Banister, Weston.
The body will remain in the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Cathedral chapel. The Rev. William Leffler, Tiffin, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
