Nola Versie Jackson was born April 16, 1918 in Glenwood, Arkansas to Jasper D. and Lou Ada Jane (Adams) Adcock. She passed from this life September 24, 2011 in Paris, Texas, at the age of 93. Nola Versie Adcock married George Benjamin Jackson in Hugo, Oklahoma on May 27, 1939 and together they raised three boys. She lived in this area all of her life and was a member of the First Assembly of God in Rattan. She enjoyed quilting, singing, cooking, and loved playing with her grandkids and great grandkids. Nola had a good sense of humor, was strong minded and voiced her opinion quite often, but she was very dearly loved by her family and friends. Nola was preceded in death by her husband: George Benjamin Jackson; parents: Jasper & Lou Ada Adcock; four sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by three sons: Bennie L. Jackson & wife Jurlene of Rufe, Jasper Troy William & wife Alice of Apple, and Thomas Ray Jackson & wife Patricia of Ft. Towson; the daughter that Nola never had: Connie Courtwright of Sobol; grandchildren: Bennie D. Jackson, William Keith Jackson, Zebedah A. Brinkley, Tamica Jackson, Misty Jamison, Tommie Dawn Jackson, and Troy Jackson, Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service: 2:00 PM ~ Friday, September 30, 2011 ~ Mills & Coffey Chapel. Music: "Go Rest High on That Mountain" ~ "Angel" ~ "Save a Place For Me" ~ "Jesus Pilots My Ship". Cemetery Music: "Amazing Grace". Pallbearers: Rusty Courtwright ~ Troy Jackson, Jr. ~ Barney Adcock ~ Jackie Adcock ~ Chris Jamerson ~ Judd Drinkley ~ Damen Blagg. Honorary Pallbearers: B. J.
