Jennifer Gayle Smith Williamson, 55, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at her home in Starkville. She was born Dec. 24, 1953, in Chickasaw County to Annie Jean Moore Smith and Bryant Lathrage Smith Sr. She was a graduate of Maben High School and East Miss. Community College. She was a nurse for North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora and Presbyterian Manor in Topeka, Kan. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point.

Survivors include daughters, Mindy Williamson Ferguson (Eric) of Starkville and Samantha Williamson of Columbus; son, Charles Williamson Jr. (Amber) of Starkville; grandchildren, Skyler and Slade Ferguson, and Trey and Brayleigh Williamson; sisters, Pam Crosswhite of Prairie and Tammy Collier of Columbus; brothers, Bryant L. Smith Jr. of Gulfport and Mike Weeks of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Boatner, Wayne Crosswhite, Gregg Collier, Shane Collier, Mark Caldwell and Daniel Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Williamson Sr., Dr. Ben Sandford, nurses and staff of Gilbert Home Health Care, Kim James, Gayle Thomas, Kenneth "Moat" Knight, Bro. Mike Smith and Douglas Smith.
