She was born December 16, 1948 to the late Caleb Lee & Christine Merle Hill Martin.
Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Howell Funeral Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by Rev. Sammy Lawson with interment to follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, December 2, from 6-8 PM at Howell Funeral Home of Mount Airy.
