Catherine Lockhart NORFOLK - Catherine "Kitty" Lockhart, 85, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011. Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of John A. "Johnny" Lockhart. She was of Catholic faith and former co-owner of Lockhart's of Norfolk, Seafood Restaurant. Kitty is survived by two sons, Robin Lockhart and wife Sue of Durham, N.C., and Jeffrey R. Lockhart of Texas; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Ciola and Betty R. Land, both of Virginia Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, John T. "JT" Lockhart and daughter, C. Renee Williams. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102, Norfolk, VA 23502.
