Herbert H. Larsen 71,of Wake Village, Texas died Sunday July 20,2003 in a local hospital. Mr. Larsen was born September 22,1931 in Spencer, Iowa. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration and retired custodian of First Lutheran Church, former Elder, trustee, financial secretary, and vice president of First Lutheran Church, member of the bell choir and choir and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Helen Larsen of Wake Village; one son and daughter-in-law, Gerry and Pat Larsen of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Eddie Wood and Patty and Kevin McDonald of Texarkana; two brothers, Arnold Larsen of Spencer and Kenneth Larsen of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Curtis Schneider officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will be at 432 Whipporwhill, Wake Village.
