Author. One of the most important dramatists in the Golden Age of the Spanish Stage. He is best remembered for his works "La vida es sueño", "El Alcalde de Zalamea", "El médico de su honra", "La dama duende", "El gran teatro del mundo", "El mayor monstruo, los celos" and "Los cabellos de Absalón".
