MORFORD SETS LONGEVITY RECORD
Thirty three years ago, Al Morford launched a career in real estate, which today has earned him the respect and admiration of both clients and associates. A decision in 1944 to enter Real estate and then in 1958 to form, in partnership, the Morford Long Company, started Al on the road to a successful professional life in which he has literally helped hundreds of Omahans to select homes. Originally Al was involved in the buying and selling of several houses, and a chance remark by a friend prompted him to become a salesman, Morford Long Company, doing both building and selling, continued until 1962 when Al founded Morford Company. "Although we are a small firm," he said, "we offer definite personal service to each client." Perseverance and hard work, based on knowledge gained from years of experience, has established the company's reputation for fair deals and honesty. An Omaha native, Al attended Benson High School, and worked for nearly 15 years in the baking industry. He obtained his real estate license in Lincoln, and since then has actively taken part in Omaha's competitive marketplace.

SALES PHILOSPHY
Al uses the Golden Rule as a basis for his sales philosophy. "Real estate is a lot of hard work," he noted. "Honesty in all dealings helps form a basic trust and rapport with clients. I meet lots of good people, have made many friends, and want to than all the clients who have helped make our business succeed. I feel it's important to treat each individual the same; show consideration for their interests - and many times the result is referrel business. Real estate is a most demanding field, requiring patience, energy and constant awareness of market trends. It has been successful in my life, helping provide a home and education for our family.

ENJOYS RECREATION
Al is an active man and leisure hours may find him teeing off on the local golf course, bowling, or perhaps best of all, taking one of the trips he enjoys so much. Married for 42 years to wife Helen, the Morfords have two married daughters, and three grandchildren, all living in Omaha. One of his greatest joys is family get-togethers when three generations can share common interests and activities. Lifelong residents of Omaha, the Morford contribute to community activities. Helen serves in Eastern Star, while Al devotes countless hours to the Omaha Sertoma Club. As a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Al has held key positions on the board of trustees as well as deacons. As a man setting a record for longevity in his field, Al Morford displays the perseverance and hard work needed to create, head, and continue to succeed in a highly competitive field. Ashe so aptly put it, "There's a great deal of personal satisfaction which accompany a job well done!"
