Martine Westerfield Hayman, 83, of Owensboro died Tuesday, August 7, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Ohio County native was a homemaker, a member of Owensboro East Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed poetry and gardening. Her husband, William Hayman, died in 1946. Survivors include four sons, Charles Hayman of Spencer, Indiana, Donald Hayman and Jesse Hayman, both of Owensboro and Kernie Hayman of Michigan City, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Westerfield of New Mexico; and two sisters, Anna Lucille Likens of Indiana and Shirley Rhodes of Owensboro.
