George Washington Arnn donated the land for this cemetery in which he and his wife Sarah are buried, as are other descendents. He was the son of Abraham Aaron of the states of PA and VA who was a patriot of the Revolutionary War. George married Sarah Sally Walker 10 Dec 1797 at Pittsylvania Co VA. They migrated to Henry Co between 1820 and 1830. They had 10 children: Ann Arnn Walker, Henry Clay, John, George Jr "Boss, twin sons Anadab and Abihu, Frances Fannie Arnn Crawford, Judith Arnn Frazier, William, and James Madison. Through the years the surname was changed from Aaron to Aronn and finally to Arnn.

A few years ago one of the descendants of the twins Anadab and Abihue, I believe it was a descendant of Anadab, had the currect gravestone placed related to the loss many years ago of the original gravestone per a family member who helped him find the appropriate place of the stone.
