It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of Benjamin "Laz" Hare announce his tragic death on July 8, 2010. Born on June 20, 1984 in Truro, Ben was the cherished son of Dennis and Gail (Pryor) Hare and grandson of Robert "Bob" and Marian Pryor. Ben is also survived by his sister, Miranda; brother, Denver and his sidekick, Ozzy Dog. Ben will be dearly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Patricia "Pat" Hare; cousins, Josh Fletcher and Will Brown. Ben had a great love for music, hockey and his family and friends. We will miss your quick wit, beautiful smile and wonderful hugs. No one can ever take our precious memories away. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Benjamin's life will be held on Monday, July 12th from 1-3 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben's memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA. On-line condolences may be made at www.colchestercommunity.com
