Ruth Lavern Lutz (92) formerly of Attica, died at 5:28 P.M. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin. She was born April 11, 1915 in Attica to the late Vearl Emanuel and Nova Blanch (McKibben) Wrinkle.
Mrs. Lutz was a graduate of Attica High School and was employed at the Attica Truck Stop which she and her husband owned. She also worked at Pioneer Rubber in Attica, and later retired at New Departure in Sandusky as well as Hide-Away Ceramics. Mrs. Lutz was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church where she was on the communion committee and worked in the Attica Food Pantry. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and they loved spending time with her. She enjoyed Nature, poetry, keeping up on current events, crossword puzzles and playing Dominoes.
Mrs. Lutz was married November 11, 1934 to Lewis Albert Lutz whom preceded her in death on April 7, 1995. She is survived by 4 children: Rosalie Ann (Bernard) Keefer of Attica, OH, James Fredrick (Karen) Lutz of Columbus, OH, Charles Robert Lutz of Findlay, OH and Susanne (Oliver) Overmier of Alvada, OH, 14 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren. 2 Brothers: Jim Wrinkle of Bryan, OH and Bob Wrinkle of Edgerton, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 children: Martha Jane Evans and David Lee Lutz, 2 Sisters: , Dessa Taylor, Janice Harrold, 3 brothers: Gail, John and Charles Chinell and one grandson: Sean Keefer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 31, 2007 at the Attica United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. David T. Clarke officiating. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Sunday at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W.
