Helena Rose Bonowicz (1919-1988) was a bookbinder at the Jersey City Printing Company, Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey (b. January 17, 1919, Hudson County, New Jersey, USA - d. September 26, 1988, 6:26 pm, Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel, Monmouth County, New Jersey, 07734, USA) Social Security Number 140035036.

She was the daughter of Vincent J. Bonowicz I and Rozalia Anna Kaplimski.

She had the following siblings: Vincent J. Bonowicz II (c1917-c1980) who married Mary Ann Wisniewski; and Marion Bonowicz II who married a Watson.

Helena may have also been married to Arthur Walker and Elmer DeBlaker (1914-1964). She was the second wife of Arthur Oscar Freudenberg II (1929- ).

She died in 1988 from "cardiac arrest, ASHD, diabetes mellitus, surgery for nephrolithiasis, dehydration and sepsis".

Her funeral notice appeared in the Bergen Record: "Freudenberg - Helena R. (nee Bonowicz) of Keansburg, NJ (formerly of Jersey City) on Monday, September 26, 1988. Beloved husband of Arthur, loving mother of Barbara Le Van, Bernadette Lehman, Darlene A. Lawhon, and Dara A.L. Maglione. Dear sister of Marion Watson and the late Vincent. Caring grandmother of James and Thomas McDyer, Michael Lawhon, Arthur Joseph and Christopher Lehman. Also survived by 1 great-grandson James McDyer IV."

Arthur Oscar Freudenberg II (1929- ) said on the telephone on May 3, 2003: "Helena was married to a Elmer Deblaker before she was married to me. He died in 1964 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was from Jersey City also. He worked for a tool and die maker there. Elmer was married once before. Darlene was raised by Helena, but she is a Johnson and later we adopted her. She was related somehow, and Darlene's mother couldn't take care of her. Helene had an apartment on 98 Jackson Avenue and I moved in. ..."
