Funeral services were held Nov. 11 at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints in Scottsbluff. Military Honors were provided by
the Nebraska National Guard following services. Interment was at
West Lawn Cemetery. Lincoln Ronald Whitaker was born on
Feb. 12, 1920 at Willard, Utah to John Nelson and Elizabeth Taylor
Whitaker. Entered the U.S. Army on Feb. 2, 1944 and served during
WWII. Married Evelyn Kopecky on Feb. 27, 1948. Preceded in death
by his parents and 23 siblings.
