Mr. Harman died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, in Tyler. He was born Nov. 29, 1930, in Van to the late Owen Terrell and Lucille Parrish Harman. He was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and married Darlene Gaut Jan. 9, 1959, in New London.
Besides his parents, Mr. Harman was also preceded in death by his stepfather, W.M. McNulty.
