COYE, CHEMIST, IS LAID TO REST
John S. Coye, 50, Boston Institute of Technology chemical research head who died in Fontana March 20, was to be laid to rest late today in Pasadena.
Christian Science services for Coye, brother of C. Horton Coye of this city, were to be held at 1:45 o’clock at Mountain View chapel following services in Colton shortly before noon.
Coye took his degrees in chemistry at Iowa state College at Ames and Boston Tech, where he taught later.
He is survived by his widow, Mabel Louise; two sons, Don Winston Coye of Fontana and John S. Coye, Jr., of Annapolis; his father, C. H. Coye, and a sister, Mrs. Leora Leinargd, besides the Pasadena brother.

John S. Coye, age 50, died yesterday at his home in Fontana. He had been a resident of California for three years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Louise Coye and a son, Winston Coye, Jr., at Annapolis; his father, E. H.Coye; a sister, Mrs. Leola Leinard of Los Angeles; a brother, C. Horton Coye, of Pasadena. Christian Science services will be held in Colton on Monday at 11:30 a.m. and also in the chapel at Mountain View, Pasadena, at 1:45 p.m. Burial will take place at Mountain View.
