Bonita A. "Bonnie" Mueller, 63, New Diggings, met with our Lord on Sept. 17, 2011, at home.

Bonnie was born on Nov. 15, 1947, in Lancaster, the daughter of LeRoy and Alberta (Morse) Sweeney Sr. She married Marlin Mueller on May 24, 1980. Bonnie was an active member of the New Diggings Primitive Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Benton Bible Church Thrift Shop. She loved to garden, sew and dance. The times most dear to her heart were those spent with her loving husband and family.

Survivors include her husband, Marlin; a daughter, Melody (Eric) Husemann, New Diggings; two sons: Robert Watters, Lyndon Station, and Adam (Chris) Watters, Boscobel; a daughter-in-law, Dana Watters, Lyndon Station; a brother, LeRoy "Butch" (Liz) Sweeney, East Dubuque, Ill.; an uncle, Clifford (Carol) Morse, Whitehall, Mich.; two aunts, Vivian Bottoni, Brookfield, and Zelma (Gene) Matthews, Mission, Tex.; her lifelong friends, Sandy Aurit (the sister of her heart), and Butch Hammill; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Russ Watters.

Services were held Sept. 20, 2011, at the Primitive Methodist Church, New Diggings with Pastor Ronald Fladseth officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Southwest Health Center Hospice.
