Visitation for Adele A. Ahramovich, 79, of Kankakee, will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Kankakee. Father Mario Quejadas will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kankakee. Memorials may be made to the family wishes. She died Saturday (Sept. 17, 2011) in the emergency room at Riverside Medical Center.
Mrs. Ahramovich was retired from Shapiro Developmental Center. She was born June 27, 1932. Her husband, Stanley Ahramovich Sr., died April 12, 1992. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, reading, cooking and gardening. She loved her flowers.
Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Robin Ahramovich, of Bourbonnais; grandchildren, David (Kelly) Ahramovich, and Anna (Spiro) Kolokythas, both of Bourbonnais, and Adam "Bubba" (Dominique) Ahramovich, of Kankakee; and five great-grandchildren, Caleb Ahramovich, Keira and Kayla Ahramovich, Christos and Niko Kolokythas.
She was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Ahramovich Jr.; and one grandchild, Josh Ahramovich.
