Kathleen M. Weiss, 93, of Fort Branch, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, 18 Jun 2015, as the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, Indiana. She was born to the late William and Mary (Berfanger) Kaiser in Warrick County, Indiana, on 17 Dec 1921.
She was raised on a farm in Newburgh, Indiana, and graduated from Newburgh High School in 1940 as Salutorian. She then graduated from Lockyear Business College in 1941.
On 14 Sep 1944, Kathleen married her husband, Wilbert M. "Willie" Weiss, who preceded her in death in 2001. She and Willie raised eight children and they operated Willie's Auto Sales in Fort Branch for over 25 years. Kathleen was a charter member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, Indiana, where, until her death, was the oldest living member of Holy Cross. She was also a member of the St. Bernadette Auxillary #280 in Haubstadt, Indiana for many years.
Besides her parents and husband, Kathleen is also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Kaiser, and a sister, Hilda Titzer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, 24 Jun 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, Indiana. Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
