UCON, Oct. 19 —Mrs. Lulu Christensen, 88, of Ucon, died Monday in an Idaho Falls' Hospital.
Mrs. Christensen was born Oct. 12, 1877 at Mill Creek, Utah, the daughter of Levi and Maren Kisteena Pedersen North. She was married to Christian Peter Christensen July 23, 1901, the marriage later being solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Mr. Christensen preceded her in death."
Mrs. Christensen was a member of the LDS Church, and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had lived in Rigby, Poplar, Garfield and Ucon.
Surviving are children: Allen Christensen, Ucon; Mrs. Ennis J. (Pearl) Messervy of Kelso Wash.; Mrs. Heber (Edna) Cramer of Rigby; a brother, James North of Live Oak, Calif.; sister Mrs. Maud Hedman of Murray, Utah. Eight grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the Ucon First Ward Church, Bishop Raymond Hill officiating. Interment will be in the Grant-Central Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and at the Ucon First Ward Relief Society room from noon until service time.
