Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Minnie H.) Wood, 83, an early schoolteacher at Sunnydale, will be tomorrow with burial in Forest Lawn. Mrs. Wood died Monday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Wood was born in Wellfleet, Mass. She came to this area in 1890. She taught at Sunnydale from 1890 until 1896. Since then she had resided in Seattle. Mrs. Wood was the widow of Henry Wood, who died in 1946. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Vera Anderson, Seattle; three sons, Harold E. and Theodore R., both of Seattle and Ruthford Wood, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Purdue, Tacoma, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Wood was a member of South Park Circle, No. 639, Neighbors of Woodcraft and Southgate Chapter No. 190, Order of the Eastern Star.
