Pamela (Karshis) Tobin Conway, 56, of Scottville, KY, entered into eternal life Wednesday, (April 28, 2004).
Pam was born February 27, 1948 in Hartford and lived in Connecticut most of her life before moving to Tennessee and most currently Kentucky. She attended Enfield High School and Creative Hair Design. Pam cleaned homes for many people, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and swimming. Over the past several years, she traveled from Tennessee to Connecticut to spend time with her family.
Pam is survived by her children, Pamela Jane Misek Dyer of Tennessee, Frederick Tobin III and his wife, Heather of Montana, Richard Tobin and wife, Julie Ann of Tennessee, Eric Tobin and wife, Chrisy of Kentucky; seven beloved grandchildren, Benjamin, Kelly, Katie, Cheyanne, Tyler, Angelina, and Zachary; three sisters, Shirley Bancroft of East Windsor, Mary "Dolly" Beirs of Texas and Faith Schneider and husband Noel of Plainville; a brother, Wesley G Carr of Albany NY; several nieces nephews and great nieces and nephews; her foster family, Jacqueline Hennques, Joann Psenning, Teresa Lagana and Joe Morreale, all of Florida and Mike Morreale and Jacques Morreale of Connecticut and her beloved dog, Chi Chi.
Pam was predeceased by her parents Mary (Perry) Karshis Carr and Peter Karshis; a sister, Patricia Seder and a brother, Peter Karshis Jr.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 8 at 10 a.m. at the J. M. Bassinger Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor. Committal of ashes will follow in Windsorville Cemetery, East Windsor. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to: Assoc. Retarded Citizens (ARC) 75 Hazard Ave. Enfield, CT 06082.
