Sports Magnate, Pioneer. He was the president and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys for 29 years. During his tenure, the Cowboys won two Super Bowls and had twenty winning seasons. He was also responsible for the creation of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, the first of their kind in professional football, the development of the Cowboys' ring of honor, shortening the play clock, and helping to develop the wild-card playoff system. Schramm served as a TV executive in 1960, and first came up with the idea of televising the Olympics in 1960.
