Wilbert Murray Ramey, 87, Clarence, died March 17, 1999, in Soldiers Memorial Hopsital, Middleton. Born in West Northfield, he was a son of the late Solomon and Alice (Rhodenizer) Ramey. He was manager of the Beaver Fruit Feed Store for many years. He owned and operated a farm in Clarence. He was a member and past deacon of Lawrencetown United Churc. Surviving are daughter, Rose Marie (Mrs. Norman Moffatt), Brickton; son, Murray and wife Peggy, Clarence; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; friend of many years, Thelma Callicut, Lawrencetown; brother, Webster, Waltham, Mass. He was predeceased by brother, Charles; sisters, Sadie, Ina, Jennie. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Lawrencetown United Church, Rev. Dr. John VanGulick officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Lawrencetown United Church or charity of choice.
