Michael is the son of Patrick and Isabell Early McDermott who came from County Donegal, Ireland. Patrick & Isabell are buried at St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, near Catawissa, MO. Patrick was born 10 March 1830 and died February 11, 1905 and Isabell was born 22 March 1831 and died 12 October 1905.
