She was born on July 9, 1937 in Danville to Archie Leroy and Helen Louise Hughes Adams.
Survivors include a sister, Mara Lou (W. Kenneth) Lucas; a brother, Robert (Harriet) Adams; four nieces and nephews including Phil Adams, Robert (Sandy) Lucas, Kathy Sue Mathis and Jimmy Jack Adams; six great-nieces and great-nephews, Lisa Adams, Anthony Eugene Adams, Joshua Robert Lucas, Laura Beth Lucas, Hilary Mathis and Stephaine Mathis.
She attended McKinley Grade School and graduated from Danville High School in 1955.
She worked most of her life at TeePak Inc., and was a member of the Shirring Operators Union. She had formerly attended Vermilion Heights Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.
