"Sister M Bernadette
Sister M Bernadette, 81, of the Order of the Sisters of St. Joseph, died Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's academy, McSherrystown.
Sister Bernadette was born in McSherrystown on September 7, 1863, a daughter of the late Casper and Sarah Hare Krepps. She entered the Order of the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1884 at St. Joseph's academy, McSherrystown, and lived her entire religious life at the academy. The deceased is survived by one brother, Ignatius Krepps, McSherrystown, and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral Friday morning with a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in the academy chapel. Interment in the academy cemetery. The pallbearers were Paul, Earl, Mark and Albert Krepps, nephews of the deceased."
