SANTA FE — Mrs. Mary Louise Geddes, 73, of Santa Fe, died Saturday at Seabreeze Care Center in Texas City. Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hayes Funeral Home
in Santa Fe, the Rev. Alan Splawn officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Arrangements will be made by Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born April 4, 1916, in Albert, Mrs. Geddes was a resident of Santa Fe for 26 years, formerly of Galveston. A housewife, Mrs. Geddes was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and The Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, T.G. Geddes Jr. of Santa Fe; son T.G. Geddes III of Santa Fe; brothers, Morris Jacoby of Arizona, Milton Jacoby of Tarpley and Harry Jacoby of San Antonio; sisters, Myrtle Geddes of Santa Fe, Sophie Mortison of Uvalde, Eddie
Jo Richardson of Snyder, Heine Homburg of Austin and Eloise LeFebrve of Fredericksburg; six grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Ike Orem, Glenn Womack, Keith Austin, Wayne Reynolds, Robert Vickery and Jason McCaskill.
