A native of Moultrie, Mrs. Tucker had made Tallahassee her home in 1959. The daughter of the late Roy and Jewell Griner, she had worked for Stafford Jewelers and was retired from the State of Florida Department of Labor. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
"We will cherish the memory of our mom sitting in her swing, sipping her coffee and watching the birds," her family said. "We love you mom."
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Gene Tucker; three daughters, Belinda Tucker, Debra Allen and Wendy Jackson; a sister, Ann Griner; two brothers, Bobby and Charles Griner; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Jackson.
