Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Pagel, who died on Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Uvalde, will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. at Seydler-Hill Chapel.
The Rev.Warren Hornung and Alton Pagel will officiate, and interment will be in the City cemetery.
Mrs. Pagel was born on Feb.11, 1896 in Lexington to Carl and Caroline Hornung Adolf, natives respectively of Austria and Germany.
She was married to Ernest William Pagel on Feb. 7, 1917, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1980. They were residents of Gonzales, living at 1003 Water Street.
She was a member of the First United Methodist church,
