Mrs. Botkin was active in the High Street Methodist Church and resigned recently because of ill health as supervisor of the church bazaar, a post she had held for 25 years. She was the daughter of William and Georgia Ladd and was a native of Portland. She came to Muncie in 1908 following her marriage to Dr. Botkin.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two cousins, Mrs. Homer Eiler of Richmond and Mrs. Clifford Durr of Marion.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Meeks Mortuary, the Rev. Thomas Hodson officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Thursday.
