Belmore, Gerald E. Sr. Age 80. Passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Zablocki VA Hospital Milwaukee. Gerald was born July 29, 1931 in Marquette, Michigan. He later moved to Milwaukee and worked as a Sheet Metal worker for Louie Hoffman. He retired after 31 years. Gerald proudly served in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1953. He married Joan Dobs in Milwaukee in 1951. They had six children, George, Dawn, Denise, Debra, Kenneth, and Gerald Jr. They later divorced. Gerald later married Diane Olsen in Milwaukee in 1970. Gerald was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan. The family is having a private service. Gerald is survived by his wife Diane; stepdaughter Tina (Scott) Rothe, Indiana; step-grand-children: Krystal Rothe, Scott Rothe Jr, Heather Rothe; his children: George Belmore, Indiana, Dawn (Damon) Weiss, Kenosha, Denise Gaetz, West Allis, Debra (Michael) Oszewski, North Prairie, Kenneth (Mary) Belmore, Muskego, Gerald (Kendal) Belmore Jr; and grandchildren, Trevor Weiss, Beau (Julie) Weiss, Lisa Lee (fiancé Brett Anderson), Mariah Weiss, Andrew Gaetz, Rachel Gaetz, Jamie Oszewski, Adam Oszewski, Tyler Hendricks, Kaitlyn Belmore, Eric Belmore, Emma Belmore, and a great-grandchild Landon Belmore. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Zablocki VA Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
