Clinton I. Woodcock, 86, of Gulfport died Thursday, March 24, 1994 in Gulfport. Mr. Woodcock was a native of Long Beach. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Long Beach. He served as a deputy sheriff under Howard L. Hobbs, Larkin L. Smith and Joe Price. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dave and Violetta Lott Woodcock; a son, Kenneth A. oodcock; two brothers, David Woodcock and Josh Woodcock; three sisters; Stella Woodcock; Odenia Woodcock and Hazel Woodcock. Survivors include his wife, Mamie S. Woodcock of Gulfport; four sons, Clinton Woodcock Jr. of Hattiesburg, Huey P. Woodcock of Long Beach, Donald Jack Woodcock and Thomas H. Woodcock, both of Gulfport; a daughter, Millie Christovich of Gulfport; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Vitiation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at Riemann Funeral home in Gulfport. A service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church in Long Beach, where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in the Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Long Beach.
