Died, at 5:10 Sunday evening, Dec. 8, at North Grand avenue, Charles L. Camp, aged 79 years. The deceased was born in Utica, N. Y., and came to Springfield in 1840 and with the exception of four years spent in the west, has made his home here ever since. He, with his wife, came only a few weeks ago to live with their son, Clint Camp, and ever since has been confined to his bed,
He was a wagonmaker by trade and was at one time in business with Henry Van Horn and did a good business.
He leaves besides his wife the following children: Mrs. A. L. McBride of Lovington, Ill.; Mrs. H. M. Robinson of Buffalo, Ill.; Mrs. W. A. Love of Cozad, Neb., and a son, Clinton E. Camp, of this city.
