Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 21st. from 1:30 PM until the time of his services on Thursday. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery.
Jennings: Funeral services for Fernen Louis Andrepont, age 78 of Jennings, will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22, 2011 @ 1 PM with Rev. Garland Reed officiating the services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 21st from 1:30 PM until the time of his services on Thursday. Fernen will be laid to rest in the Reed Cemetery.
Fernen Louis was born in Basile on August 26, 1933 to the late Fernest and Beatrice Miller Andrepont and was called to heaven on September 20, 2011. He worked in the oil field industry nearly all of his life making a good living for his family. During his time off, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Most of all, Fernen enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his two sons Roderick (Pam) Andrepont of Evangeline and Randy (Felicia) Andrepont of Basile, and two daughters Paulette Andrepont and Pauline (Raven) Gotte both of Evangeline. Fernen was a wonderful and loving grandpa to seven grandchildren, Daimon, Ryan, Garrette Andrepont, Amber Breaux, Megan Richard, Shane Andrepont, and Brady Gotte, fourteen great grandchildren, and brother to Elma Dean Durio of Basile.
Fernen was welcomed into heaven by his beloved family who preceded him in death: his parents, Fernest and Beatrice Andrepont; wife Joan Hebert Andrepont; and two brothers, Warren and Ronald Andrepont.
Serving as pallbearers will be his five grandsons and Creg Durio. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Fruge.
