Jan. 10th, in Somerset Co., Pa., of old age, at the residence of his grandson, Bro. Henry Blough, aged 93 years, 11 months and 4 days. The aged patriarch lived to see his offspring to the fourth generation. Fifty or sixty years ago he became lame in his legs and had to use staves, and rode sideways on a horse. Notwithstanding his infirmities, his seat in church was seldom vacant until he became too feeble from age. He has always been a faithful brother. For many years he desired to depart and be with Christ. A year since his sight failed, but his memory was good. His body was placed in the family grave-yard in the presence of a large number. Sermon by the aged bishop, Samuel Blough, from Rev. 14:12, 13.
