Southington- Brian John Watts, 44, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at HCC of New Britain General, with his family at his bedside.
Brian was born in Southington the son of Ray and Joann Watts. Brian had his own Company selling "Kirby" vacuum cleaners in York, PA for 7 years. After moving back to CT, he worked in area restaurants and pubs with a passion for cooking.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 sisters, Mary-Beth and husband Pat Luongo of Southington and Laura and husband John Hayner of Forestville also a niece Rachel and nephew Dominic Luongo.
He will be surely missed by "Boog" his cat. A special thanks to the staff at HCC at New Britain General's Critical Care Unit especially his nurse Mike.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Southington
Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Susan G. Kolman Breast Cancer Foundation, 350 Church St. Hartford, CT 06103
