Wylie Ratcliffe

Wylie Lloyd Ratcliffe, 86, of Cotton Valley died Dec. 26 at Schumpert Medical Center following a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Mack Davidson officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary Inc. of Cotton Valley.

He was a native of Arcadia, a Baptist and a resident of Cotton Valley for 52 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Ratcliffe of Cotton Valley; two sons, James Ratcliffe of Cotton Valley and J.M. (Scooter) Ratcliffe of Bossier City; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Hutchinson of Bossier City and Mrs. Hazel Ball of Shreveport; a brother, Sam Foster of Minden; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Harper of Gibsland and Mrs. Bennie Smith of Monroe; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
