Mrs. Lillie Mae Martin Ratcliffe, 82, of Cotton Valley died Dec. 30 at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Jan. 2 at Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Jacks and the Rev. Mack Davidson officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Inc. of Cotton Valley.

Mr. Ratcliffe was a native of the Evergreen Community, a resident of Cotton Valley for 57 years and was a member of the Fist Baptist Church in Cotton Valley.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Hutchinson of Bossier City and Mrs. Hazel Ball of Shreveport; two sons, James L. Ratcliffe and John M. Ratcliffe, both of Cotton Valley; two sisters, Vada Humphrey of Shreveport and Mrs. Odesser Otwell of Ruston, La; 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Hayward Ratcliffe, Bobby Joe Ratcliffe, Jackie Glenn Ratcliffe, Don Paul Watts, Billy Windham and Buddy Stinson.

Honorary pallbearers were H.W. Hutchinson, W.E. Ball, T.J. Hadden, R.H. Hadden, Sr., the Rev. W.R. Wright, Allen Cooper and C.D. Allen.
